Well, we knew you couldn't kayak just anywhere in the canal, but we thought we were ok here where the canal opens into Lake Gatun. Guess not you have to be farther along. Canal authorities boated up with a loud speaker and told us we weren't allowed to be here. Darn, it is so close and convenient to put in. And cool to see the big ships so close. We should come here to watch the Russian Destroyer transit through last week... We'll have to explore more up the Chagres River instead. And in case you wondered, the water is warm enough even for me to swim. Full of crocs they say...
